Frequently Asked Questions

Do you take insurance?

A very common question, let’s discuss! MVP Sports Rehab is a private pay physical therapy clinic. This means we are an out-of-network provider. A little different then you might be used to, here’s why…

Baseball injuries are different, and require a unique physical therapy skill set and expertise to ensure a full recovery. As a sports performance physical therapy clinic the private pay model allows us to utilize our entire skill set, with high quality one on one care, creating an incredible baseball rehab experience for each athlete. This would not be possible under the restrictions of insurance companies. When you combine our expertise, high quality care, and longer one-on-one appointment times, it typically results in a more complete and cost effective recovery. Consider us a long-term investment in your health, as we will provide you with the tools, skills, and strategies to stay healthy and maximize your potential for the future.

If using your insurance is the limiting factor from getting started with MVP Sports Rehab, please take a look at our “Testimonials” page. Many of our clients felt the same way at first, and what they found was that the decision to move forward with MVP was well worth it. You can also set up a free injury consultation with us and see how we can help YOU. Begin the road to recovery now.

Can I still use my insurance?

Yes, if your insurance has an out-of-network plan we can provide you with what’s called a superbill for you to submit to your insurance. The superbill has all of the information required by your insurance to submit for reimbursement. You can also use your HSA and FSA accounts.

Do I need a referral for physical therapy?

In Minnesota you can see a doctor of physical therapy without a referral. Schedule a free consultation with us, and we can set you on a path to a complete recovery!
